Stream of Sanctuaries

“SANCTUARY” (n.): 1. a sacred or holy place 2. a place that provides safety or protection Stream of Sanctuaries aims to encompass feelings of security, spirituality, comfort, and refuge through multiple interpretations of the Circle as used during the 1990s by the Indigenous community and non-Natives. Whether embedded within the landscape or guided through the journey of the buildings, the site provides a diverse set of experiences of a modern approach on the Circle and how those spaces are sacred moments connecting the Indigenous community with non-Native people.
